HEIN4LIFE works to bring life-saving and life-changing reproductive health care to millions of youth, women and their families in Uganda. We do this by empowering youths, adolescents and women with knowledge and skills of their health rights.
We recognize that gender inequalities and their most brutal manifestation – gender-based violence (GBV) – inhibit women and girls from accessing reproductive health services, and therefore work to increase awareness about GBV.
In order to enhance health service delivery to vulnerable populations, HEIN4LIFE uses quantitative and qualitative research to aid decision-making in complex implementation problems, particularly pertaining to health promotion, Sexual and reproductive health service delivery as well as gender-based violence.
To effectively contribute towards addressing our core objectives and realizing our mission, we focus on capacity building and systems strengthening of HEIN4LIFE, as a national agency for transformation in health service delivery. We embrace and value diverse skillsets, support our staff in mentorships and trainings to embody our values
